History
Naranjete is the traditional artisanal drink of Huasca de Ocampo, Mexico's first Magical Town. It is made by macerating orange with cane alcohol and vanilla, and is offered as a typical digestif of the Hidalgo sierra.
Ingredients
Preparation
- 1
Juice the oranges and reserve the juice and some peels without the white pith.
- 2
Dissolve the sugar or piloncillo in the orange juice by warming it slightly.
- 3
Let it cool and mix with the cane alcohol.
- 4
Add the split vanilla, the cinnamon, and the orange peels.
- 5
