Ingredients
Preparation
- 1
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Separately beat buttermilk, egg and cooled melted butter.
- 2
Fold together just until no dry flour remains, leaving some lumps.
- 3
Grease a skillet over medium heat. Add small portions and cook until bubbles appear and the edges look matte, about 2 minutes.
- 4
Turn once and cook 1-2 minutes more until cooked through. Serve with maple syrup.
Cooking tips
- Leave some lumps in the batter; overmixing makes pancakes tough.
